Changing it makes emulation inherently inaccurate. It also had a wrong
default value (30, whereas the real system has a refresh rate of 60 Hz)
which, even if changed, would continue to be used unless people manually
removed it from their config files.
This enables more dynamic management of the process address space,
compared to just directly configuring the page table for major areas.
This will serve as the foundation upon which the rest of the Kernel
memory management functions will be built.
The Qt debug runtime prints a bogus warning on the console if you
haven't called makeCurrent since the last time you called swapBuffers.
This presumably means something if you're using QGLWidget the "regular"
way, but in our multi-threaded use case is harmless since we never call
doneCurrent in the rendering thread.
Implements unrotated planar YUV 4:2:0 -> RGB24 conversions in Y2R.
Currently only the Y (luma) channel is used, so the results don't
contain color. This will be added in a later PR at some point.
This is enough to get all currently know Moflex videos to decode. (Some
don't display on-screen due to seemingly unrelated reasons.)
Thanks to @archshift for doing the initial implementation which I
cleaned up and then fixed the 8x8 block mode.
memory.cpp/h contains definitions related to acessing memory and
configuring the address space
mem_map.cpp/h contains higher-level definitions related to configuring
the address space accoording to the kernel and allocating memory.
It provided a large increase in complexity of the logging system while
having a negligible performance impact: the usage patterns of the ring
buffer meant that each log contended with the logging thread, causing
it to effectively act as a synchronous extra buffering.
Also removed some broken code related to filtering of subclasses which
was broken since it was introduced. (Which means no one ever used that
feature anyway, since, 8 months later, no one ever complained.)
This works around crashes related to GSP/HID/etc. shared memory blocks
having garbage values. The proper fix requires proper management of
mapped memory blocks in the process.
When the macro was introduced in 326ec51261
it wasn't noticed that it conflicted in name with a heavily used macro
inside of dyncom. This causes some compiler warnings. Since it's only
lightly used, it was opted to simply remove the new macro.
It is superfluous for Citra. (It's only really necessary if you're doing
JIT. We were using it but not taking any advantage from it.) This should
make 32-bit builds work again.
The old system of just defining macros available in some other platform
was susceptible to silently using the wrong code if you forgot to
include a particular header. This fixes a crash on non-Windows platforms
introduced by e1fbac3ca1.
MSVC 2013 (at least) doesn't use QueryPerformanceCounter to implement
std::chrono::high_resolution_clock, so it has bad precision. Manually
implementing our own clock type using it works around this for now.
It was trying to take the LSB from `coarse_x`, which would always be 0
and thus would always return the same texel from each byte. To add
insult to the injury, the conditional was actually the wrong way around
too.
Fixes blocky text in OoT.
This was caused during morton decoding by me not masking the bits of
each coordinate before merging them, so the bits from x could set bits
in y if it was >255.
The submodule update was doing a full clone. Also increase clone depth a
bit, since it can apparently cause issues checking out the source if
there are too many concurrent PRs trying to build (causing the commit
for the build to not be the top one on the repository anymore).
During normal operation, a thread waiting on an WaitObject and the
object hold mutual references to each other for the duration of the
wait.
If a process is forcefully terminated (The CTR kernel has a SVC to do
this, TerminateProcess, though no equivalent exists for threads.) its
threads would also be stopped and destroyed, leaving dangling pointers
in the WaitObjects.
The solution is to simply have the Thread remove itself from WaitObjects
when it is stopped. The vector of Threads in WaitObject has also been
changed to hold SharedPtrs, just in case. (Better to have a reference
cycle than a crash.)
This should speed up compile times a bit, as well as enable more liberal
use of forward declarations. (Due to SharedPtr not trying to emit the
destructor anymore.)
